Loved, loved, loved the location! Yes, just as advertised it was steps from the water. The bed was very comfortable, the shower water was hot and the hammock right outside the door was fun. We appreciate the larger fridge in the kitchen area.

The only thing that could have been better… the wooden window blinds over the bed could not block out the street lamp flooding the room with light throughout the night. Thank goodness they are aware of this inconvenience; they provided a little box filled with eye masks. A gentle suggestion would be to replace the wood shades with blackout curtains.

Comfortable beds. Whomever I talked to on the phone about checking in was very friendly. Location could not have been better--lake and marina are just across the street.

Property did not process our payment through Booking.com but instead stated payment on file with Booking,com could not be processed and insisted I pay for the room through a third-party app (Stripe). I mentioned I would not pay through anything other than Booking.com but they would not give us access to the room (disabled the door code they had already provided) until we paid through Stripe. I've never been asked by a property for payment outside of Booking, especially when they sent a link via text. I asked them to send the link through Booking and they did but it seemed a bit sketchy. Also, we sent a request the night before leaving to see if we could check out an hour later. Their stated policy is that they are happpy to accommodate this type of request but we received no response at all. Volume on the TV seemed to be controlled so it couldn't be turned up very much. I am hard of hearing in one ear so it made it difficult to hear the shows we tried to watch. This is a property run by an offsite property mgmt company so pretty generic accommodations/amenities. Low quality towels, toilet paper, generic shampoo/conditioner, coffee, etc.
