Travessa do Meio Apartment

This is such a cute and traditional small apartment located in the old town of alfama . Yes it’s small , but doesn’t cause any issues for us , maybe if you have mobility issues or luggage the initial doors are small and would cause an issue . I loved the apartment it has everything you need . Location is good too , only a small wall before you reach restaurant and and shops . Everything was basic , but all clean and does the job . Shower is small , so once again if you have mobility issues it’s not suitable but otherwise all fine . A fan was provided in the room , TV with Netflix , comfy bed and storage for your clothes .

The only issue was the shower head had broken off the bit it attaches to on the wall , meaning we had to hold the shower whilst showering , not a huge issue and an easy fix . Can’t think of anything else bad at all x

La situació i l'espai. La infraestructura

L'horari d'entrada molt tard, a 15h, i l'horari de sortida molt prest, a les 10h. A la cuina hi ha poques coses: no hi ha tasses, falten cuberts (només una forqueta grossa i una petita, no hi ha culleres petites...), falta olla i pella...

The apartment is very comfortable and has AC, and a separate living room with free wifi and a TV. The location is very good also, and it's easy to access, except for the front door which is very very narrow. The bed is mid quality but far from bad.

I personally believe it was a tad pricey for the overall experience. In the listing it claims to have views, but it doesn't, at all. Has a small window to an inner roof or something but not something enjoyable. That's not 'views', it's just a window. The apartment was very clean and comfortable but the stairway and entrance aisle wasn't. We stayed there for almost a week and the same dead cockroaches weren't removed. The hook where the shower is hung was broken, so we had to constantly hold the shower's head with one hand, which made it kinda cumbersome. For the price one pays, it could be fixed. There's no staff/host/reception either, it's all self check-in. It was okay, we didn't have a bad time, but a few things could be enhanced.

A localização é boa, pois fica bastante próxima de vários meios de transporte (comboio, metro, autocarros). Recomendo para quem quer apenas um sítio confortável para dormir 1 ou 2 noites.

Não recomendo para estadias de longa duração, pois o alojamento é bastante pequeno.
