After some troubles at the beginning: a wonderful stay.
We went to trier with a big group. The property is central in Trier and we really liked the beamer, sound system and Wii. We played a lot of games. We also liked that when there were problems the host was very responsive, showed up within 30 minutes and offered a solution quickly. After buying some cleaning supplies and a cutting board we had a great stay. They have a guestbook that outlines everything clearly, even how to deal with the neighbour, so that’s great and well arranged!
The property is advertised as having 4 bedrooms and a living room with beds, but in reality there are only 3 bedrooms and a living room. Two of these bedrooms are also linked which means less privacy. For our group of 9 people this means that there were not enough beds. However, after discussing this with the host we were promptly offered another apartment to add which meant we all fit. The apartment gets very hot, and the balcony as well, the blinds against the sun don’t work there and the heat really gets into the entire apartment, which made it hard to properly sleep/do activities, but we were also there during a heatwave so we understand the circumstances. It’s a dated apartment that could use more pots, but we had a great stay once we got over the hurdle.
