Lovely, charming house we would definitely use again.

Charm and uniqueness in every room. The use of the courtyard was most appreciated.

Fabulous stay in Trier

The property was nicely decorated, clean, and well equipped. We were able to cook in the kitchen. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. Hans-Josef met us and showed us to our private parking space. Alls in all this property was very comfortable and homey. We would happily stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

We had a car so getting around was not an issue. It could be more challenging without your own transport.

Quiet street, great house with character of original 18th century but clearly updated with modern conveniences. Plenty of bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms. Kitchen equipped with good oven/stove, dishwasher, lots of pots/pans, dishes, and silverware, toaster, and coffee makers as well as dishsoap and kitchen towels/sponges for easy washing up. Bonus: complimentary bottle of local wine and coffee and tea to get us through a couple of mornings... We loved dinner at the restaurant Klosterschenke recommended by our host just a short walk away -- a beautiful setting, super service, great food/drinks, and reasonable prices-- as well as the Kenner Bakery for breakfast goodies.

Though we enjoyed many aspects of being in a quiet village, it was a little far away from plethora of attractions and restaurants in Trier. Though they were not far by car, there was less available within walking distance.

Unique

Interesting location in a town a short distance from trier. Not tourist location in the slightest which we liked as nice to have a more ‘real life’ experience On our first trip to Germany but just don’t expect fancy eateries on a tourist trail. Quite an industrial location. House quite incredible really; first thing the children found was the glass door over the cellar which was intriguing to say the least but the house itself quite fascinating with quirky staircases and very unusual decor and furnishings. To get 5 bedrooms for the price was very good value and super outside terrace combined to make this house excellent value in comparison to several hotel rooms. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Location may not be to everyone’s taste and would definitely need a car.

Charming house. Nice location.

Very small communal space. Very hot under under the roof in the second floor bedrooms. Church bells will wake you up (start at 7 in the morning). If you are tall, you will hit your head and the bed is too short.

Wir haben mit der Familie ein tolles Wochenende in diesem super gemütlichen Haus verbracht. Ein toller Gastgeber! Toll ausgestattet! Die Verbindung mit dem Bus nach Trier Zentrum auch sehr gut 👍

Gezellige perfect uitgeruste vakantiewoning

Rustige locatie, met openbaar vervoer naar centrum. Het verblijf was zeer proper en zeer goed uitgerust. Al het nodige was voorzien. Het huis was mooi aangekleed voor kerst.

Sehr gut geeignet für einen gemütlichen Familienurlaub in Trier.

Ein gemütliches Haus mit viel Atmosphäre. Nach Trier kann man gut mit dem Zug oder Bus fahren. In der Nähe gibt es eine leckere Eisdiele. Und für Kinder gibt es auch ein Spielplatz in der Nähe. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter!

Idealer Ruhepol für Ausflüge nach Trier.

Das Haus Lehmgefühl nimmt dich mit Stil und Komfort auf; Ruhe, Gemütlichkeit, Gelassenheit überkommt einen. Wir waren sofort zuhause. Sehr gerne werden wir wiederkommen und können es für einen Trierbesuch sehr empfehlen, da man mit der Bahn in wenigen Minuten direkt in Trier ist, aber abends dem Touristentrubel auch wieder entfliehen kann.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Familienwochenende. Dafür war das Haus wie geschaffen! Sehr schöne Ausstattung. Ein sehr schöner Innenhof zum ungestörten Beienandersein!

Würde sofort wieder hinfahren!

Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt in einem tollen Ambiente. Das Haus Lehmgefühl ist mit viel Liebe restauriert und eingerichtet worden, unsere Gruppe hat sich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist jederzeit zu empfehlen und wir werden irgendwann wieder vorbeikommen. Danke auch vielmals an den Gastgeber Herrn Schmitt, der uns sehr nett willkommen geheißen hat und sich jederzeit bemüht hat, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Er war ein perfekter Gastgeber mit Leib und Seele, findet man heutzutage nur sehr selten! Auf diesem Wege herzliche Grüße aus Österreich an ihn und vielen Dank für alles.

Ausgezeichnete Ferienwohnung als Basis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung

Sehr netter persönlicher Kontakt, freundlich und hilfsbereit, dazu ein ganz besonderes Haus mit eigenem Charme und Flair. Die Mosel ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt, in Trier ist man ruckzuck, Luxemburg und das Saarland locken zu einem Kurztripp, genau wie die Moselorte, zB Bernkastel Kues oder Traben Trarbach, etc. Kein Fernseher war für uns kein Problem, lediglich die Müllentsorgung war tricky (nicht mal bei dem Netto in der Nähe gab es verschiedene Container), aber auch da wurden wir nicht alleine gelassen, siehe oben: sehr hilfsbereit. Fazit: wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Lehmgefühl nur weiterempfehlen.

Außergewöhnlich schön renoviertes, zweckmäßig , aber stets stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus in schöner Lage mit weniger als 1 Minute Fußweg zur Mosel. Außerordentlich nette Vermieter, die sich vorbildlich um alle unsere Belange gekümmert haben.
