Chalet Aria

- very nice localisation, close to the town of Hybe and the highway connecting to other bigger towns and the Tatra mountains, but isolated enough that it was very quiet and the sky at night was almost without any light polution - a lot of living space, big bedrooms, bathrooms and a cozy living room with a fireplace - all the amenities you could want for a long stay (well equiped kitchen, washer and dryer, washing machine with tablets available etc.) - cool window blinds system (external blinds controlled by remotes) - you could make the bedrooms very dark even during the brightest day, but not every window in the living room/kitchen/open space can be covered (roof windows don't have blinds) - huge terrace, a nice garden with a place for a fire/grill, and some attractions for kids (slide, climbing wall, swings, all well taken care of), although the area isn't completely fenced (there is no fence in the front of the property, so keep that in mind if your dog or kids like to run wild :) )

- we stayed there fo 7 days, and everything was fine untill the 5th day, when suddenly some ants started popping up all over the place - we have contacted the owner to let him know whats going on, but he was away and couldn't help us out. We used cinnamon to deter them and it worked 80% :) The place is located in a rural area (peace and calm but also bugs), so we get it that it might sometimes happen.

The house is too hi-tech- it took me some time to learn how to use it

המקום יותר כייפי אפילו מהתמונות. יש דלת חכמה כך שאפילו לא צריך מפתח. גם התריסים בחלונןת. בקומת כניסה יש חדר כביסה על מייבש ומכונת כביסה חדשים. יש 2 חדרי שינה עם מיטות זוגיות. יש חדר מקלחת ושרותים. יש קמין וטלוויזיה עם נטפליקס. יש מטבח עם מכונת קפה מעולה שגורסת פולי קפה( היתה מלאה בפולי קפה כשהגענו), מקרר ומדיח. יש יציאה למרפסת. בקומה השנייה יש חדר עם מיטת יחיד ועוד חדר עם מיטה זוגית וחדר אמבטיה עם אמבטיה, מקלחת ושרותים. בבית יש מערכת חימום על ידי מים .אין בבית מיזוג אויר.

היינו בשבוע מאוד חם .ולמרות שכתוב בבוקינג שיש מיזוג אויר....אין מזגנים בבית בכלל. כששאלתי את הבעלים , הוא ענה שאין. קניתי מאוורר בלידל ליד והעברתי את הלילה. כמובן שבעונות מעבר וחורף אין בעיה. רק במקרה של ימים חמים במיוחד(30 מעלות). עדיין המקום מבחינתי הוא 10.

Spacious and nicely laid out property in a good location

I booked Chalet Aria in Hybe via Booking.com for a party of four adults (4th-6th August 2025), clearly requiring at least three rooms and two bathrooms for two nights, as advertised: a spacious villa with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The listing described the entire villa, complete with a sun terrace, garden, and free WiFi. Upon arrival around 7pm after our flight, we were shocked to be given access to only two double rooms and a single bathroom, the other two rooms were locked. The owner informed us on the phone he only rents out individual rooms, contradicting both the online description and our booking confirmation for the entire property. The owner said he would send his cleaner within the hour. After much waiting, two people eventually arrived close to midnight but refused to open another room unless we agreed to pay extra for what turned out to be a tiny box room. We refused, pointing out that this was not the agreement. They phoned the owner who eventually offered to unlock the box room but not the room with the additional bathroom, which he said was out of order due to damage from previous guests. At this point, it was clear the property did not meet the specifications advertised or those we had booked. In the morning we decided there was no point in staying, our planned busy itinerary for the day was ruined. I messaged the owner early in the morning to say we would vacate the property by around 10am and not return, given the situation. We received no response before leaving, nor at any point since—and it has now been over a week since our departure. Thankfully, the next property we booked on Booking.com was excellent, as was the other full property booking, but we are still waiting for a refund for this disappointing experience.
