Ocean view condo with balcony hotel zone Cancun

Absolutely fantastic location! Great spot with views right out to the ocean from the condo! Great space in condo with two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms (good for friends but also for travelling with a teenager like we were!) It's a quirky space, not your typical white washed modern place but actually felt lived in and colourful (which Mexico is!). It was great to have your own kitchen and living space. The access to ocean is so simple and secure and there are three pool areas you can use! Brilliant! Security to the Villas is good and access for everyone is through a single point. There is a pharmacy and an OXXO shop basically on the premises. It's behind a shopping mall (and hospital) that has restaurants and a large grocery store. You can walk to La Isla for shopping and more restaurants in 5 mins. Great location.

I will honestly say that as quirky as the property is, it has issues. The sliding doors for balconies were hard to open and the locks were flimsy and felt like we were going to break them when trying to unlock. The décor and the finishes are a little rough around the edges and don't look too closely at the dust on the ceiling fans! And, as another review says, the master bed is huge but the firmest mattress I have ever slept on - ROCK solid! I did check and it is a mattress but feels like a piece of wood! The window in the shower didn't open, the mechanism was broken and once we opened the one in the main bath, it wouldn't close! The host company was really responsive as we had a few issues and they responded immediately and they visited the condo to assist us. The TV in the living space was broken but couldn't be fixed before the end of our stay and there was a structural issue with the kitchen that they worked to sort out but didn't interfere with our stay or comfort. We were told this is a new property to their portfolio so I think a lot of these issues will be worked out for next season.
