Best Beachfront Location at Elements

Great location and clean facilities. A few blocks up and you'll reach the 5th Avenida strip where all the entertainment and restaurants are. 5 mins to Coco Beach. Walkable and safe area. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with all the comforts of home. All bathrooms have a walk-in-shower, the master bedroom had a toilet with grab bars if needing more stability. A/C unit in each room with full kitchen and utilities. The unit patio faced the public boat launch for the locales. Steps away from the ocean. The pool was very long, length-wise and you could do laps if you wanted. Nice to have some discounted drinks during Happy Hour down at the Beach club with chaises and beach chairs on the sand facing the ocean, or they can take drinks to you at the pool. It was not very busy there during end of April and very quiet by the pool side to relax during low season. There is a big 2 floor gym with weights, machines and mats facing the ocean; I never work out during a vacation but since the gym was so nice to look out at the ocean, I worked out that week :P There is also a business centre and common room. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is an elevator in each section or you can take the stairs. Parking is free if you are renting a car. 20-60 mins to one of the many hundreds of cenotes on the Mayan Riviera. You can order replacement jugs for drinking water from the front desk staff that is about 50 or 60 pesos. Cheaper than the 7-Eleven across the street.

I did have a wonderful stay but there are a few things to know or to keep in mind: 1) Toiletries: The 1 week I stayed, there seemed to be small amounts of soap, shampoo, conditioner and toilet paper provided for the week per bathroom, being that only 2 people were occupying the unit. I believe there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. When I asked the front desk about staff providing additional toilet paper, they said I needed to contact the property manager. Instead, I bought my own 4 pk of toilet paper and soap for the rest of the week at Chedraui (supermarket) as I had a car. But I imagine if it was a family of 4 in the condo without a car, perhaps they would run of of toiletries and supplies quicker and may be inconvenient trying to find supplies. 2) Beach Noise: The boat launch across the unit gets really loud at night with the locales blaring their massive souped up stereos in their cars outside, drinking and socializing. They usually turn it down by 11PM or so, and I didn't hear much of it afterwards. If you decided to go to bed after 9PM the bedrooms are far from the patio, it didn't affect my sleep. BUT, if you decided to hangout in the living room in the evening, you'll definitely hear it :P You mind as well go down and party with them! 2) Sargassum seaweed: wow, never knew how rotten egg smells (H2S and NH3) can be so potent at the beach! End of April when we stayed, the sargassum started to pile by the boat launch area. I saw lots of marina workers rake the seaweed onto a forklift shovel to load kilos and kilos of seaweed to a truck to bring the sargassum away from the beach. The fresh ones aren't so smelly, but if they remain there and decay, you can smell the rotten egg smell. It is fresh! But the locales were very diligent in getting it out. They know tourism is impacted by it and need to clear it from the beaches. The resort can't control sargassum, which is bad end-March to October (summer).

The location of this property is just amazing. Right on the beach. The condo was very nice and comfortable.

Due to the unprecedented Sargassum, there was a smell.

Fuimos a un viaje familiar el cual nos gustó la alberca , la ubicación es buena , tenía muchos químicos el agua y nos hizo los trajes de baño amarillos .

El club de playa que se menciona el mar en esta época fue de sargazo y no te podías meter al mar ya que estaba saturado, las instalaciones bien pero si quieres ir a la playa no es recomendable .
