Nice spacious apartment in a secure building… i most probably just had an unfortunate experience

I checked in after 6:30pm and the place had not been cleaned, it looked like a party took place the night before, bottles everywhere, bedding stained and beer bottles on the nightstand and the kitchen and bathroom was dirty. The cleaner only arrived after 7pm but at this point even after a top clean, i was uncomfortable to even sit on the bed. The host was unreachable by phone, only contact over chat on the app and although apologetic, i was told the guard was not supposed to give me the keys if the cleaner had not left but if i paid for an entire day, should i wait around till after 8pm? I understand mistakes, i do not have patience for lack of resolution, i would have expected a partial refund for the fact that i could not use the unit for more than half my stay
