    I really liked the hotel - the staff is cheerful and helpful. The food is great (breakfast is superb), and it's well maintained. It's a few mins walk away from the Golden Acre mall, from Green Market, from bars, restaurants and cafes. There are convenience stores right outside. It's a central location. Huge plus. A word of very mild caution - the neighbourhood is largely safe and clean. However it is also frequented by homeless, adult workers and people expecting charity. Though they are harmless and not in your face, they will be around. I did not face any trouble walking around though I was cautious to be in public areas and keep my valuables guarded. Not the hotel's fault - but I had loud neighbors in the adjacent room and the walls being thin - it was annoying. However, when I requested the hotel staff to get them to turn down the volume, they made sure it happened. right away. My room - 202 was comfortable but extremely dimly lit. If I pulled the curtains apart to bring in outside light - I was visible to all the neighboring windows. Putting some sheer curtains would help. And an additional light switch next to the bed, instead of the single one near the door. There are no toiletries offered except soap and toilet paper. Carry your shampoo and toothpaste, etc. Towels were clean. Overall satisfactory experience.
