Spacious balcony with a really nice sea view and great spot for the sunset. Even when Tenerife had some cloud over it, the view was still lovely. The balcony gets sun from around midday onwards and keeps it through the evening, which was very pleasant. Apartment had the amenities described and was comfortable for our stay. Good location too, within walking distance to local shops/markets and you can walk down the hill to Amadores Beach. Gabor who handled check in was also very helpful and friendly. Another big positive was that we didn’t see any cockroaches at all, which can be an issue in some buildings in the area.

Only a few minor things, otherwise I would probably have rated it higher. The pool toilets were open for the first day or two, then stayed locked after that, so if you were at the pool you had to go back up to the apartment to use the bathroom. We mentioned it and Gabor did try to help, but there didn’t seem to be any response from building management. Parking is on the street and while it wasn’t too bad when we went after Easter, the road is one way and winding, so if there’s no nearby space you need to drive all the way around again which is a bit frustrating as it's a few kilometers journey. There were also quite a few mosquitoes, especially if leaving the balcony doors open in the evening for the sea breeze. There was sometimes a sewage smell around the wider Amadores area, especially lower down the hill, though that is more of an area issue than the apartment itself. Lastly, we didn’t need the air conditioning much as the weather was quite mild, but on the hotter final night I found it difficult to work in getting the right setting and it would have been useful to have this explained at check in.

Really friendly and helpful host. Balcony is amazing and spacious. Apartment was very clean. Gabor has thought of filling the apartment with everything you would need for a week in the sun. Apartment is situated on a hill so I’d say if you don’t like walking - you might struggle, but there is a taxi rank outside to solve that. Close-by to supermarkets. Food and drink nearby. Beach is pleasant with blue waters and white sand. Compared to what else you can in the area I think it’s really good value. We had no criticism about the apartment and the facilities offered. Det var færre soltimer på terrassen enn det som var blitt opplyst om. Sola kom ikke før ca kl 14, og var da på halve terrassen frem til kl 18.
