This home is gorgeous. I love art and water and was surrounded by both. The furnishings are elegant yet beachy. Truly one of the nicest places I have ever rented. Cedar Key is one of those old Florida locations that are not touristy. There are quaint little shops and fantastic food at every restaurant we went to.
I am truly sorry to add anything negative because I enjoyed this home. With that said, the "steps to the beach" is not quite accurate. It is truly steps to the water. And there is a beach. But when the tide goes out, it is MUCK. Not bashing Cedar Key or this beautiful home, but I missed being able to get in the water. The sunset cannot be seen from either balcony but just steps to the water and you will see a gorgeous one.
