Fernhill, stunning holiday home

Excellent few days spent at Fernhill for mum's 81st birthday. There were 9 of us and the property was easily big enough for us all. The hosts were very accommodating around deliveries for mum's oxygen needs, and even left a birthday cake for her on arrival! The location was excellent, 5 or 6 minutes in the car to the sea front. The house is lovely, set back from the road in the woods. I'd gladly recommend this property for anyone looking for somewhere to host a big group.

The only negative was that the entrance is not immediately obvious from the road, we drove right past it despite crawling at a few mph along the road as the signs are quite small. One of the party arrived at night & couldn't find it at all in the dark, one of us had to come out with their phone torch on for them to see! A small solar powered light over the house name plaques would have helped massively. That said, once we knew exactly what to look out for it was easy enough.

Fernhill enjoys a wonderful location, set among woodland, just outside of Cromer. We chose this as a venue for our annual family get-together for 8 adults and 3 young children and it proved to be ideal. The main kitchen and sitting room areas accommodated us easily and it felt very much a home from home. The large upstairs landing area also provides a nice play space for the chidren to escape to. A footpath leads from the back of the property across fields and into Cromer which in itself makes a nice walk.

It's not a downside, but we had 3 cars between the family that visited and we also met up with friends on Sunday who arrived by car, and the parking outside the house just needs to be planned carefully to accommodate anything more than 2 cars.

House was absolutely amazing in a beautiful rural setting, but also close to Cromer town (approx 20 min walk)

The house is spacious, with five generous sized double bedrooms. We booked this house to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday and Fernhill did not disappoint. The owners really have thought of everything! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Thank you.

Lovely shady location just a few minutes from Cromer. Good facilities and plenty of room for our party of 7.

Wi-Fi was rather intermittent, and patio furniture needed a bit of a clean-up after the local bird life had been using it.
