The apartment is just like it is in the photos. We called while we were on the way and Hamza was really helpful, he explained to our driver how to get to the apartment and met us on the street, helping us with our bags. There was road access, so our driver was able to stop just beside the alley of our building which was something that was important to us. Location wise, it’s near Bab Jdid (new gate) or Rcif. Most taxi drivers seem to know where to go if you say it’s near Funky Fes. Overall, a convenient place, maybe less than 10 minutes walk from Rcif place (Saha rcif) where you can enter the market. To get to Bab Bjloud / Blue Gate, you’d have to be prepared to walk quite a bit, or better to take a petit taxi if you’re travelling with someone a bit older and can’t walk much. Things we really appreciated - the apartment has a washing machine, drying rack, an iron and ironing board which was fantastic. The bathroom was nice and modern, with a bidet spray and the shower was nice and big. We appreciated the wonderful woodwork design that was in the apartment - doors, wardrobe and beds - especially after our visit to Funduq al-Najjarin (Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts).

Just 2 minor things - The apartment is on the 1st floor, i.e. you have to climb a set of stairs, a little bit steep and narrow, perfectly fine if you’re young and healthy, but was slightly difficult for my mum who has weak knees. - Water tends to pool a bit at the toilet if you take a shower because the drain is at the top of the floor slope, needs an extra drain at the bottom or different sloping, would be great if that can be addressed for future guests.

Unforgettable stay in the heart of the Fès medina. The apartment is beautiful, tastefully and charmingly decorated. Perfect location to explore the old medina of Fès, with parking nearby. The welcome was warm and the host always available. I highly recommend this place!

Très belle expérience dans cet appartement récemment inscrit sur Booking. L'appartement est spacieux, avec deux grandes chambres, Tout était conforme aux photos : moderne, très propre et parfaitement équipé, il ne manquait absolument rien.. Il est très bien situé accessible en voiture et proche de toutes les commodités. La communication avec le propriétaire a été fluide et très agréable. Je recommande vivement ce logement!
