Amazing proximity to the water, full unobstructed sea view from our apartment. Lampro and staff are very helpful and answered all our questions. Nice Greek restaurants downstairs on the water. Free parking downstairs. Nice island, the north side is also worth exploring and spending some time there, only 45 minutes drive from the hotel.

We enjoyed and respected the fact it was a family run business. Some people might not appreciate that, you can always spend 3x more money and be at a corporate run hotel. We got all what we needed there and felt welcomed.

We recently returned from the most peaceful and rejuvenating stay at this hidden gem of a property. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a place designed for unwinding. The accommodation was spotless and incredibly comfortable, though it's worth noting the bed was on the firmer side, which some may prefer for a good night's sleep. The real magic, however, begins when you step onto the balcony. You can see the sunrise and for a couple of hours you have the morning sun. The view is stunning, to the left, the majestic outline of Kefalonia rises from the sea, and to the right, the mainland of Greece stretches into the horizon. Directly below, the owner’s charming taverna nestles among the trees, offering a postcard perfect scene that feels like it’s been lifted from a dream. Each evening, nature puts on a show: flocks of birds gather in the trees by the taverna, settling in for the night in a mesmerizing dance of wings and chirps. Occasionally, a buzzard swoops in, adding a touch of wild drama to the spectacle. It’s a ritual we looked forward to daily. Inside, the rooms are generously sized, with each bedroom boasting its own bathroom, a real luxury. The kitchen was well-equipped, including a fridge with a freezer, there's a washing machine and a drying rack on the balcony. Parking was easy and off-road, which made coming and going stress-free. There's an on site bar and restaurant. Sunbeds were available for guests, perfect for lazy afternoons soaking in the tranquility. This is not a place for shopping or nightlife, there are no shops, and that’s precisely the point. It’s a haven for those seeking peace, quiet, and the kind of slow living that soothes the soul. Whether you choose to meander through the sleepy streets or dive into the crystal-clear waters, this property offers a rare kind of escape. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already dreaming of our return.

Shower floods the bathroom but then I don't know of many places in Greece where this doesn't happen, there was a mop to hand, but with the heat, it dries instantly.
