EHUB - Walk to Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and People's Square, Boutique 3Bedroom Fully Equipped Family APT , very close to Subway

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Shanghai. The flat was clean, cozy, comfortable, and in a great location, with all the main attractions easily within reach. It was the perfect base for our family trip. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond by arranging a taxi for our family of seven, which is very difficult to find using the regular Didi app in Shanghai. We really appreciated her kindness and willingness to help.

(Note: we actually stayed here for 6 weeks, but split our stay up due to issues with making a too-large payment on my bank's end.) Apartment matched online photos and was large and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. The AC worked very well, which was incredibly important when we arrived to 90+ degrees for much of our stay. Having a washer/dryer was also great to wash all our sweaty clothes and really appreciated that detergent was provided as well! Bathrooms were clean with good shower and fancy toilets (bidet, etc) The apartment is in a great location, very close to metro (Yuyuan and Dashijie) and easy walk to Yuyuan, Bund, People's Square. Arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow and hosts were quick to respond to questions. There is a small convenience store right outside the apartment complex gate which was great for picking up water, snacks, etc. My kids were happy to find that there was a playground in the complex, although since it was so hot we mostly went after dark (that seemed to be when other kids were there too). The payment process was a little nerve-racking since it is not directly through Booking, but worked well and hosts were very patient with me when I had trouble getting Alipay to work with my credit cards. Since we stayed so long, we asked if cleaners could come once a week or so and were easily able to arrange this with hosts for a small charge (150 CNY/time)

Only minor notes--would be useful to have a second access key for the building door since we weren't all always going the same place at the same time and getting the key from the lockbox every time going in and out gets annoying. A bit more silverware/chopsticks would be useful in the kitchen. It would be great to have hooks for towels, etc in bathrooms. Would also note that the listing says there is a "private pool" but there is not (I didn't really expect there to be, and if it had been that important I would have asked before booking), hosts directed us to a health club somewhere in the area where we could pay to swim, we never bothered to figure it out.
