So far my favourite hostel in Ireland. Separate and cozy rooms, an amazing setting with beautiful walks around the area and easy access to the fjord for a swim. The breakfast was perfect and the beds very comfy.
The adventure centre beside the hostel looks cool but I haven't tried yet.
The rooms got very warm at night, but you can't open the window lest you let in the fearsome Connemara midge, so you have to decide between a very sweaty night or big bits in the morning. Bug screens might solve this!
Some may see the lack of signal and poor WiFi as a downside but for me it was perfect because the location really facilitates unplugging for a while.

Location, amenities, inside and outside space excellent and super breakfast.
En suite bathroom could do with some TLC.
