Hotel Sofia Blackpool

Wet close to the beach and the staff were such lovely people. The price was really good.

It was a little dated and the rooms could be cleaner. Maybe a little eye for detail wouldn’t go a miss.

The room was clean and warm, the bathroom slightly outdated but for the price it's was good, came with shampoo and body wash and treats on the bed with 3 different types of towels, The bed was small for two adults my partners legs stuck out of the blanket but the worker gave us a king sized which was much appreciated. The whole hotel was bright and clean and smelled lovely, The worker/owner not sure was amazing and very accommodating.

The electric kept flickering on and off occasionally and the last night neither of our phones charged not sure why, the fan in the bathroom was loud but luckily it only turns on when the light is on.

Great location, 10 min walk to the centre & promenade. The room was nicely furnished and the added bottle of water and chocolate bar on bed was a lovely touch! The tv had so many apps to choose from which catered for all including kids and the property always smelt clean.

The bathroom was very small and tight but the facilities available were adequate so no complaints here. The hotel isn’t easy to locate without a very clear visible sign outside. We ended up walking back and forth before realising we were outside it the whole time. There’s a small plaque above the front door with hotel name which is easily missed. The instructions on how to locate the property aren’t the clearest and could use updating as we came from opposite direction to the way in which the hotel stated it was positioned which meant we should’ve been looking across the road. The owners are currently refurbishing the place so I’m sure the sign will come eventually but otherwise they are doing a great job and I’d book to stay here when I visit again.
