Das Haus ist wunderbar renoviert und wirklich einzigartig. Die Betten waren bequem und das Apartment ist toll ausgestattet. Bei 40 grad Außentemperatur war es im Apartment schön kühl aufgrund der dicken Mauern.
Es gab nicht in allen Schlafzimmern Rollos oder Vorhänge zum Verdunkeln. Ein Schlafzimmer besaß keine Tür - es war offen in die Küche/Gemeinschaftsraum; das ist zwar architektonisch schön, aber unpraktisch. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist unter der Woche für so einen kleinen Ort relativ befahren und bei offenem Fenster etwas laut.

Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeber, wunderschönes altes Haus, mit Respekt vor der alten Bausubstanz renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet. Die Ausstrahlung der Räume durch feine Farbgebung und charismatische alte Fenster schaffen eine entspannende und wohltuende Atmosphäre.
Einziger Kritikpunkt war die Ausstattung der Küche hinsichtlich Geschirr und Besteck sowie die Beleuchtung über der Arbeitsfläche.

Even in hot weather it remained cool inside due to the very thick walls of this centuries old house. The hosts were very kind and accomodating. Susi downstairs in the little shop was also lovely. Comfortable bed, rooms lovingly decorated and renovated. Kitchen well equipped. We loved the arches that broke the space open and the deep window bays. Close to excellent swimming place on the Danube and so many other extraordinary places to visit by bike. We didn't need a car, hiring electric bikes was 100% worth it, the house is directly on the Danube biking trail and only an hour from Vienna by train from Melk.
Even with the relatively low temperature indoors it would have been nice to have a fan. The road along the Danube in front of the house is pretty busy, it gets quite at night but if you need to open the window- which helps when temperatures are lower outdoors - the noise at dawn can wake you up. There is outdoor area but we never ended up using it because of the traffic and the heat. We did go down to the river though which is directly in front of the house to moon bathe.
