THE HOUSE
Around the house there is a terrace and a large garden. The beautiful lido on the Ybbs is a 10-minute walk away. Near the village is the beautiful Eisenwurzen nature park and various ski areas, including Ski Hochkar. The beautiful hiking area of Gesaeuse is also not far away. The house has 3 bedrooms (max. 10 people), is fully furnished and equipped (including Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine). The terrace and the large garden also offer sun, but also plenty of shade. Bakery, shops etc. can be reached within 5 minutes on foot.
The house is from around 1900 and has been rebuilt several times. The ground floor has a living room, a new kitchen (2016), a large hall with toilet. The first floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a bath, shower and two toilets. In 2008 two new bathrooms were built. There is also a new stove in the living room. Up to 10 people can stay in the house in all seasons.
FURNISHING
In the house, all amenities including an electric stove with an oven, microwave and a bread machine. There is also a washer, dryer, TV / DVD player and WiFi. The house is heated with a comfortable central heating and a wood stove in the living room.
THE BEDROOMS:
There are 10 beds in 3 bedrooms. Upstairs there is a small bedroom with a double bed, a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with a pull-out bed and a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with a pull-out bed. There are duvets and pillows. You have to bring your own bed linen. On the first floor there are two bathrooms: one with shower, sink and toilet, 1 with bath / shower, sink and toilet. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.
THE LOCATION
The house is located in the cozy village of Hollenstein an der Ybbs in the Mostviertel, Lower Austria province. The village is located in the so-called Prealps, between several 1800 m high peaks in the Ybbstal, about 1 hour from Linz, 2 hours from Vienna.
There are two supermarkets and a gas station in the village.
The nearest town is the beautiful medieval Waidhofen an der Ybbs, where the larger supermarkets and other shops are located.
There is a lot to do for sports: hiking, swimming, climbing, mountain biking, rafting, skiing, cross-country skiing and cycling.
The village lies at 485 meters, in a beautiful, quiet location at the foot of the Gamstein at 1,774 meters. and the stump wall 1770 m.

Our four days spent there were nothing short of delightful, and I wanted to share our utmost appreciation for your outstanding hospitality and the impeccable condition of the property.
First and foremost, the house itself was absolutely fantastic. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From the well-appointed kitchen to the cozy bedrooms, every corner of the house exuded warmth and comfort, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The location of the house in the beautiful village was simply stunning. We were mesmerized by the picturesque surroundings and enjoyed every moment spent exploring the charming streets and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, the proximity to the ski resort, only 40 minutes away, added an extra layer of convenience and excitement to our trip.
