The room was spacious, comfortable and had AC. The location was perfect — within walking distance of the boat and kayak tours along the backwaters. The hosts were very friendly and attentive, giving us great recommendations on what to do and what to eat in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Sunil was extremely helpful and provided valuable insights about local attractions, including government boats and restaurants. The room was spacious, with ample storage facilities, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. A notable feature was the veranda, which offered a serene view of coconut trees and a church, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Overall, the accommodation was restful and met my expectations.

My room and attached bathroom were both of a good size and were spotlessly clean and fresh. The owner Sunil and his family are very welcoming and friendly and we're always available to answer any questions. The availability of free water treated by reverse osmosis is a real bonus. It was a pleasure to stay at Philips Homestay. If only all homestays were of a similar standard.
The water pressure for the shower is a little low, but this is not unusual in India.
