Mythic Gem

A wonderful 2-bedroom house with mountain views. The house was spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and great air-conditioning in all rooms. Very comfortable beds and pillows and nice large fluffy bath towels were provided. A bit hot during the day, but a lovely terrace with table and chairs, perfect for early morning breakfast or a glass of wine at night. Peaceful, but only about 3 minutes walk from Vathy town centre with lots of tavernas, cafes, bars and shops. If feeling energetic, the house is perfectly situated to hike to Sarakiniko beach (about 30 minutes walk) which we loved and returned a few times during our stay. Also Filatro beach about 45 minutes walk. However, you can always arrange a taxi to take you and pick you up unless you hire a car. Ithaca is a beautiful island and Mythic Gem is the perfect place to stay.

Not a criticism, however, there are about 30 steps from the road up to the property, which might not suit someone with mobility problems.

Neat, spacious, locality and well equipped. Andreas was an informative and helpful host.

Maybe too many stairs
