Parrot Paradise Negombo

Hands down to the best place I stayed in during my entire trip around Asia. I honestly was not expecting it to be this amazing. The room was absolutely stunning. It had the perfect mix of traditional Sri Lankan style and luxury, and it felt so unique compared to all the other places I stayed. The whole property is surrounded by nature, so it is super peaceful, and seeing all the parrots every day was such a special experience. The food... WOW. Both the breakfast and dinner were incredible. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and the portions were HUGE and one portion could easily feed three people! But the best part was definitely the hosts. Anton, Miranda, and Ann are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived and treated me like family. You can really see how much they care about their guests. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone, no matter your age or where you are from. If you are coming to Sri Lanka, you HAVE to stay here. And one tip: do not book just one night. I am 100% coming back and staying here for at least three nights before I leave Sri Lanka because it is honestly that much worth it.

The property is immaculately clean. Communication was excellent and the hosting exceptional. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, much of it grown in the garden we ate it. Neighbourhood is beautifully green and very quiet other than the sound of birdsong. We opted for a transfer from our lovely hosts which was lovely being sent off and wished well at the airport. We would highly recommend as a first or last stay in Sri Lanka.

We stayed at Parrot Paradise on the day that we arrived in Sri Lanka; we loved it so much that we booked it again for our final day in the beautiful country. The house is so clean and well kept, the perfect base pre and post flight. The gardens are gorgeous and well maintained and much of the fruit features in the delicious breakfast and dinners - which are completely delicious and worth having. What’s best about Parrot Paradise is the family, so welcoming and accommodating. Stay here!

Wir haben hier die letzte Nacht vor unserer Heimreise verbracht. Die Kommunikstion mit der Familie, das schöne Haus zwischen vielen grünen Bäumen, die Sauberkeit und die schöne Atmosphäre haben die letzten 2 Tage in Sri Lanka noch zu einem Highlight werden lassen. Wir haben zur Erkundung des Städchens Negombo 2 Fahrräder erhalten, die tiptop funktionierten - hat Spass gemacht, sich mit den Fahrrädern unter den Verkehr zu mischen. Eine gute Wahl zum Starten oder Beenden der Sri Lanka - Reise.

Wir haben jederzeit Kaffee oder Tee erhalten. Dazu mussten wir allerdings den Gastgeber bemühen. Wenn im Zimmer ein Wasserkocher und Zutaten wären, könnte man sich selber versorgen. Das wäre vielleicht etwas einfacher.
