The key was in a locked box attached to the door. Very easy! We had a couple of questions and small issues for the host and he was very accommodating, responsive and fixed our minor problems. The house was very cosy, clean and comfortable during a cold Canberra winter. The appliances were good quality and we used most of them during our 5 day stay. It was one of the few 4 bedroom houses available and it was in a great location if you want to access the National Triangle attractions.
The flooring was on three different levels in the house with a very small step between levels. This was a trip hazard for us. We spoke to the host and he immediately came and taped the steps. He also fixed a blocked AC duct immediately. It would have been useful to have the operating manuals for the appliances. We managed to find them online so it was OK.

Quiet area, very tidy and neat, very comfortable, heaps of fridge space
No teatowels at the house which was not convenient. We had to buy papertowel
