Luxury Apartment on Piazza Erbe

Amazing location with a perfect small balcony to watch the busy square. Considering we were over the square the sound proofing was excellent. Would book again!

The 2nd floor unit overlooks the old main town square. It’s a lively square with lots of residents and shops. That can mean some noise but it’s a city center and that’s to be expected. It was very convenient and walkable to a lot of sites with lots of restaurant options. The unit itself is clean and modern and well appointed. There is a touch panel by the door that operates the hallway stairwell lights (otherwise they’re dim) so be sure to touch that before walking out.

The unit has unique and modern lighting. I don’t think I’d be able to read a paper book at night very well though. It could use an extra optional lamp in addition to the modern lighting.

There is no doubt this apartment is beautiful. It blends old-world charm with modern touches—the frescoed ceilings, fixtures, and overall character are truly special. The location, right on Piazza delle Erbe, is stunning and incredibly convenient. Considering how central it is, the noise from the piazza is quite manageable, and the building itself feels secure.

That said, there were a few aspects of the stay that could be improved. Comfort-wise, we did experience some challenges with the air conditioning. As the apartment can get quite warm—especially in the evenings—and opening the doors isn’t always practical due to the location, access to air conditioning is important. We chose the apartment in part because of this feature, so having clearer expectations and more consistent use would have made a noticeable difference in our comfort, particularly on the first night. Additionally, the air conditioning was turned off on the morning of checkout while we were still packing, which felt a bit premature. A few small touches, such as providing extra pillows, a blanket, and allowing use of the in-room safe, would also enhance the guest experience.
