Parking a pain had to park beside pub and carry everything along

Such a lovely cottage, fairly cool in the heatwave. Garden a good size for our dog. Everything we would need in a kitchen and the tv for late evening. Hot tub great, even when hot outside - it's in the shade and there was a lovely breeze. Comfy beds and sofas inside and so light and airy throughout, bathroom especially. Welcome pack (bread, milk, butter etc) which was really thoughtful and handy!

No cushions for the outdoor furniture, indoor sofa cushions not the right size so was uncomfortable to sit out. The garden wasn't enclosed either for the dog but we have a long lead so we tied that round a post which I've done other places. No mention of Loft Cottage at all on the main street so we had to ask a neighbour after not finding it. And parking wasn't available which wasn't mentioned either so we had to walk to/ from from a nearby street near the pub with all luggage.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Ideal distance to explore bedale, fountains abbey, light water valley, Ripon. Loved the hot tub and the garden space.

There was an infestation of red spider mites in the bathroom as the window had large gaps in it. The oven didn’t work and the windows were difficult to stay open. Parking was on the street but prior guidance to this would have been helpful.
