The bungalow itself was nicely decorated and seemed secure from the outside area. However, the surrounding area did not seem safe for 2 ladies traveling alone. Parking is in an alley behind the unit and claims to have a camera. However, there seemed to be a place of drug sales out of the back of a building a few doors down. It is a rundown area with a lot of graffiti and some homeless.
Neighborhood very rundown with illegal activities. Did not feel safe coming and going from condo.

Parking on site, great location close to everything San Diego. Would definitely stay here again. Full kitchen, family of 4 could easily stay here.
San Diego does not get super cold, space/room heater was provided for warming. Would have liked to have central heating ad we were in a bit of a colder downtrend. Despite this, Would still stay here! value is worth it.

The place itself is very sweet and well-kept. It has a comfortable layout and gets a lot of light.
As a solo female traveler, the entry point to this property is in a back alley that was often occupied by people. My car was actually blocked for a bit in the alley with a drug deal occurring, while I waited. While there are motion lights above the area to park, there are not in the rest of the alley and I did not feel comfortable.
