easy to collect the keys from the estate agent. The house is huge and the 3 bedrooms are massive. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. Nice to have the courtyard garden to sit in. Parking was fine - either on the street outside or just over the road in the free car park area. Very, very close to the high street which was great. Great views over the common. Lovely and quiet.

A wardrobe in the master bedroom would be a benefit. Windows/access to the balcony from the master is impossible - they are in poor condition and don't open/close properly. Hoover and dustpan and brush would be useful. Also a freezer - there is one in the owner's fridge but not in the guest fridge. It's very old fashioned in terms of decor and the hundreds of ornaments - not a complaint, just an observation. There was a bad smell in the carpet in the living room near the tv which I did inform the estate agency about so imagine that has been sorted. TV is very small - and we did have rain during our stay so did watch TV so would have appreciated it being larger given how huge the living room is. The main thing that I was surprised by is that the top floor is locked off for the owners but I didn't see any mention of that in the details. I did find that a bit strange and uncomfortable to begin with and do wish that had been specified - you look at the photos and assume you have the whole house. To clarify for prospective renters - the owners aren't there - it's just locked.
