Friendly, helpful and accessible hosts. Respected privacy. Made sure as a guest I was familiarised with all the facilities including the fridge, washing machine and washing line in the garage. The accommodation was comfortable, warm and private. And mostly clean. See note below. This is not a like or dislike. The location is suburbia. You have to have a car to access the shops, city and other sights. I have a car so not an issue; a vehicle is helpful in Hawkes Bay regardless of where you're staying. A carpad in the driveway is available so no need to park on the road.

Bench space for preparation of food and drinks was very limited. I only heated food and made plunger coffee. This is not a major negative but would be helpful to have more surface area available. One small negative was that there was residual food dried up in one of the two bowls on the metal unit above the microwave.

The host was super nice and welcoming, she even offered us a clothing steamer which was really helpful. And the spa pool was greatly appreciated.

J'ai été très bien accueilli par Tracy. Le studio est calme, séparé de la résidence principale par le garage. Très bien équipé (frigo, lave-linge et sèche-linge à disposition) avec une literie confortable.
