Location and balcony

Responsive host, great video instructions for everything needed. The apartment is spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was nice that there were extra pillows in each room. The pictures are accurate, and the views of the city are very nice. The washer/dryer was a nice feature as was the Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The kitchen has basic cooking supplies, but it could definitely do with a little more robust utensil options, as the kitchen would be great for someone looking to prepare their own meals. There are several good grocery store options nearby. The balcony is a very nice feature, and it was nice to be able to open the windows and sliding doors for fresh air. It was not our first stay in London, so the location worked for our purposes on this trip.

In my opinion this is not a place for a first time visit to London. The location is a 5-10 minute walk to the underground. The area is not a tourist area, and is not a place I would be comfortable walking alone after dark. It does have access to grocery stores and a diverse selection of restaurants. The living room sofa, while a lovely color, is not the most comfortable to sit on, and certainly wasn’t built to hold up to the wear and tear of a short term rental, so I understand the other comments made. However we were able to arrange pillows enough to support our backs to watch a show. The TV has a blue spot in the middle, so while we could watch a movie, it was a little distracting. While it was nice to open the windows, at night we had to shut them as the police and ambulance sirens were frequent all night long, the location is near a hospital. We did not have access to heat or a/c controls, so we were quite hot at night, with the windows closed. If you are used to city noise this may not be an issue for you.
