live takayama-Stay with a Rescue Dog and Local Host

Every positive review is beyond true. Our stay with Hiromi was our most memorable of all our accommodation stays in our 3 week Japan trip. She is incredibly hospitable, takes immense pride in her home and providing her guests with a very comfortable experience. I highly recommend trying her Sukiyaki it tasted incredible and was so lovely to have an authentic home cooked meal. We had 2 young children and they had a wonderful time asking to see Hiromi again. My only regret is not staying with Hiromi longer.

Hiromi is the prefect host. She is a beautiful person and her home is beautiful too. Cocoa is a great dog too! I loved my stay here it has been the highlight of my travels in Japan. Fantastic host, great location, wonderful breakfast. Hiromi went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience in Takayama it is such an amazing place. Hiromi picked me up at the bus, was so generous and gave great recommendations for walks and restaurants. I hope to return here one day and see Hiromi again and stay here again . Absolutely top marks!

I loved everything

This was our best stay in Japan. Our host, Hiromi, welcomed us so warmly and made our stay incredibly comfortable—she even prepared a small breakfast for our early departure. Her traditional Japanese home is beautiful and immaculately clean. As a group of four, we had two separate, spacious rooms, both with comfortable beds and lovely mountain views. Her restaurant recommendation was also fantastic. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay, Hiromi.

Hôtesse adorable - super serviable Elle est venue nous chercher a la gare, nous a déposé au restaurant et nous a emmené nos sacs à la gare pour le retour! Vraiment extra ! Nous conseillons vraiment! Accueillis comme à la maison! Et plus petit déjeuner delicieux
