Het huisje is ruim, gezellig en schoon.

The location was ideal for proximity to Fairford airfield if you're attending an airshow. It would also be pretty good for anyone wanting to escape a city and explore the Cotswolds. The beds were pretty comfortable. There was loads of wildlife nearby, rabbits doves, red kite, etc.

The property manager's communication was really poor. The property is down a lane, which is closed during airshows. No information was provided about how to get into the property, nor any indication of which roads to use to access it. When I messaged to ask for more details, I got no response. When about half an hour away (during the check in window I'd indicated) I tried to call, and the phone rang out, so I sent a text which wasn't answered either. To her credit, she did call back but the signal was awful. I tried again immediately and she picked up but my Bluetooth chose to fail, so I disconnected and called again immediately, once again, no answer. Sent another text and still no response. Eventually got to the property, having had to talk our way past the stewards and navigate a one way system, and no-one was around. Managed to find a neighbour (who also seemed to be the owner) who told us how to get in and also mentioned that he struggled to get hold of the property manager. Inside, we were greeted with the smell of dogs and the whole place seemed grimy. There was litter in the yard, a towel from a previous guest had been left hanging on the back of a door, and there were dirty dishes which had been put away in the cupboard. Some brand new towels had been left out (not washed before first use) and the shower downstairs was so clogged with limescale the water had started forcing its way out round the sides. There were also only two half finished toilet rolls and only one spare for potentially six people for two nights. It really felt like the manager had done a half hearted clean after the last guests and possibly forgotten that anyone was arriving this weekend. The only communication we had was a reminder on the last day to put the key back in the key safe (there was no key safe) and to put the bins out.
