Villa Kiara Sanur

The villa looks exactly like in the photos, the rooms are very spaceous as well as the bathrooms. The hosts were super nice and upcoming and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They were also quite responsive and proactively approached us with help and provided water without even being asked to. They were really amazing hosts!

Unfortunately, there are lots of things to consider when booking the villa. Since it’s an open space concept for the kitchen/living room, there’s a part that’s not covered when you want to cross to the rooms part of the villa. Since we’ve stayed there when the heavy rain season started this wasn’t fun. The windows and ac were leaking everytime it was raining. There were also all kinds of bugs and animals crawling in the evening as they were attracted to the light. There were also all kinds of them in the bedrooms since the rooms are not properly sealed off so we shared our rooms with small lizards and spiders for the entirety of our stay. When we arrived, the bathrooms were not cleaned properly but the hosts came the next day and cleaned up. The location is also quite inconvenient as you’re quite far from the beach and Sanur and you’ll have to take a taxi. During traffic it can take quite some time to reach the city. The wifi is also non-existent anywhere but the kitchen.
