Air conditioning isn’t controllable on a room by room basis. So you have to deal with whatever temperature someone in an office deems appropriate. This is, in my opinion, false advertising on the part of the hotel. Also, you can’t open any windows so it’s difficult to feel any fresh cold air even in winter. When I complained about this to the staff member on duty, the shock on their face…’what, don’t you care about sustainability?’ they actually said. I asked to escalate to a manager but was told that this was impossible as the managers ‘don’t work weekends’. However, I’m eagerly anticipating the management response to my feedback on here which usually appears to be a cut & paste job to any review offering critique - in particular I’m looking forward to being welcomed back with an experience that other guests have grown so fond of! I would love a personal management response which answers the above issue satisfactorily but feel there is more chance of winning the lottery. Ironically, I’d need to win the lottery to afford the parking here. Dozens of people have complained about the price on here but nothing is done about it by the management - however, an empty car park suggests the message is getting out.
