Wodehouse, Eco House - Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages

Location was great being only a short walk to the seafront. Off-road parking space. Beds in cupboards were comfy. Lots of windows which helped us to reduce the temperatures during a very hot week. Nice outside area to sit. Lots of coat hooks by the door and large entrance mat for shoes. Separate freezer in understairs cupboard. Overall we enjoyed our week in Aldeburgh and would happily stay at Wodehouse again in the future.

The upstairs sofa was uncomfortable and dirty. The tap locations in the bathroom basin made it prone to water spillages on the bathroom floor. The bathroom door is a bit awkward and the hinges should have been installed on the other side to allow for easier access from the kitchen/dining room area, rather than having to walk onto the entrance mat to go into the bathroom. Also no lock on bathroom door. Could do with a welcome package to explain where things are, and more kitchen utensils wouldn't go amiss. There was also a length of roof/wall insulation which had been left in one of the downstairs rooms which was odd.

The beds are cabins in main sitting room upstairs which is ok if you all go to bed at same time and loo downstairs Lighting is poor Water not hot enough

Not as clean as expected, wood stove not working, not able to sit out in garden, overgrown and in need of some care.
