Enjoyable Family stay in the heart of Aldeburgh

Fabulous location for us in Aldeburgh….perfect for everything there. Feels homely. Great size kitchen & dining area for large families Good layout of rooms. Outdoor space with seating Good communication from the Company who owns the house. Large home & It did not feel like you were staying above a shop.

The seagulls in the morning are loud from 5am til 7am but this is cannot be controlled by the house or owners. Just you’re right by the seaside. If you like a really quiet location this house isn’t for you. Also the house is on varying levels with many stairs. This was not a problem for us but could be for some families. There is no parking, but we sorted parking through just park website & also managed to get parking on roads behind the house. It’s a great house, but little things could have been better like window fixings being repaired & not left loose. Some windows e.g bathrooms didn’t open & a blind in one of the top rooms didn’t close properly. The outside seating area could have been cleaned & presented better for our stay. Ceilings in top bedrooms are very low because in the roof and although double beds in each one the top rooms are on the small side.

Lovely light dining area and two lounges to accommodate us all.

The creaky floor on the middle floor was a challenge for trying to keep quiet during the night. Especially trying not to wake up two small children.
