Accomodo London South Bank - Spacious & Elegant Apartments near Big Ben, London Eye & Bankside

Proximity to subway. Smart Tv. Washing Machine. 1 bedroom is pretty spacious. Nice property. Seems brand new. Furnishings are nice and new. Apartment was very clean when we checked in. Clear instructions to enter the building and the apartment.

No AC. Were provided fan, but not good enough to cool down heat inside the apartment. We had to open the balcony door to get a little cool air in. However there is construction right outside of the building. Making it extremely noisy when the balcony door is open. Some kitchen utensils were dirty and dusty. No place to discard trash. Were told trash room is in the ground floor with a key on the wall to access it. Couldnt find it. It looks like building guests were throwing their trash right outside the building on the sidewalk near the entrance door. It was piled up there for almost a week before it got picked up. Outside area and street almost look like it was in a bad area. Even saw a homeless dude eating food out of a trash. I wouldnt stay there by myself. Good thing we have 2 men in our group. Area has potential. Maybe it will get cleaned up better in a few years. Slippery tub, scary to get out of the bathtub when wet - very slippery and unsafe. Wished I have more hangers to hang clean clothings as well as to air dry clothings after wash. We had clothing hanging rack but not enough for 4 people’s worth of clothing. Expensive for a place with no AC.

Location was great, a short walk across the bridge and we were at the Tube

Building work just outside our view, but it didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves

The apt's location was convenient, the host was responsive and having a washing machine was a big plus.

The apt faces a huge construction site and it doesn't look like that will be finishing anytime soon. This should be flagged in the description. The toilet could use some fixing as there were drain flies. The drying rack and fans provided were not in 100% working condition and we had to improvise.
