Hotel Tourist Residency And Homeland Forest Villa

Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The beautiful setting, the welcoming atmosphere and the outstanding staff made it a truly memorable experience. We left with wonderful memories and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Outdoor space was great for kids to play

Toilet spray was in wrong side in bathroom and the road access is a bit different for all cars sir to it’s slope.

The owners are very sweet and treat guests as family

It’s a perfectly fine place and very quiet while remaining fairly central to the lakeside area.

The property is up a VERY steep hill, and then further up some stairs, not ideal for people with accessibility issues. The property is extremely expensive compared to other options. I feel that tourists don’t know any better and book only online, myself included at first, but I have since found many wonderful hotels that literally cost 1/4 of the price (or less even) that were just as nice, or even nicer, and in the same area. On other occasions I paid just a little more and got A LOT more for the money, talking pools, better location, 24h reception, beautiful building and grounds etc.. Further we ordered tea but it arrived quite cold, the menu was somewhat limited, and options I wanted that were on the menu I was told were out of stock. It’s not a bad place by any means, but for the price compared to so many others I’ve now stayed in, I simply cannot recommend.
