Perfect location, and the host sent plenty of information before our arrival.
It was a bit strange having to cross the corridor for the kitchen and bathroom but when you got used to it, it worked.

Fabulous location and good quality kitchen and shower fit out. Surprisingly spacious storage in cupboards etc . Parking in Salcombe is a massive bonus and the garden grounds + pool in summer would be fabulous too.
Although before booking we knew the rooms were split , with a corridor in between , we couldn’t quite envisage how this would work. Whilst each small room was spacious enough in itself, the doors were exceptionally heavy fire doors and to keep opening and closing them each time we went across became very tedious, hard work for me, and a drag. On arrival the apartment itself was very clean with clean sheets , towels etc but we were surprised to find two dirty, black t-shirts in one of the wardrobes ( which we put up on a top shelf in case anyone claimed them). Also as of our 3rd day there the main entrance doors ( glass, sliding panels) suddenly stopped open automatically on arrival. We can only assume the sensor had failed. My husband managed to prise the doors apart to get into the lobby and then our fob activated the second set of doors. But on my own I could not have re-entered. There is no concierge or building manager on site and this entrance arrangement ( a code would be better) is a safety hazard. Again, on Sunday there was no one around , and not many of the apartments were occupied.
