About this apartment rental
A little bit bike museum, little bit historic, a little bit chic Euro-modern + we're smack dab downtown Crosby close to everything + short bike ride to Cuyuna trails. Our guests tell us they love The Bike Vault bike-themed atmosphere & touches, convenience and accessibility to restaurants/shops (like right across the street!). If you're looking for a distinctly different VRBO, book your stay now. BONUS: store your bikes in the original 1930s bank vault (oh, so, very secure).
The Bike Vault - Truly Unique
Why do we stand out in a crowd? 1) We are DOWNTOWN (not just close) right in the heart of the Crosby. We're across the street from Rafferty's Pizza and a few steps away from most of the delish restaurants & shops (e.g. Victual). Plus just park your car and walk/bike to trails & downtown amenities.
2)We are probably the coolest MTB-themed VRBO you'll ever stay in. Period. A local craftsman made so many bike-themed pieces that it's almost hard to list them all—a bike gear table, hooks and hangers, artwork, etc. Look around and find your favorite piece.
3) You have access to the entire 2nd floor lofted 3BR apartment that includes modern amenities (glass door fridge, 75" TV, etc.) plus all the wonderful historical elements like high ceilings and 1910 original wood trim, doors, crown molding & transom windows. Our place features a large kitchen/hangout area w/custom live-edge maple plank table, bike library w/sectional seating (+ a pullout queen bed), bikes & books, a large hallway connects the bedrooms offer additional bench seating & storage, full bath w/shower and private half-bath. Stay foot-loose and fancy-free by leaving your bikes & gear (e.g. helmet, shoes, jerseys) locked safely in the main level 1930s original Vault (hence, our name).

Deb and Jay have thought of everything to make this a really cool spot to stay right in downtown Crosby. It was a great spot for our family of 5, more than enough room. Walking distance to almost everything one needs. And so much info on trails to ride and many other things to do.

This was our second stay at The Bike Vault this summer and everything was amazing! The attention to detail and the location of the bike vault can’t be beat. Our boys (6 and 8) love the trails (Galloping Goose and Bison Run were highlights), the scenery is beautiful and there are so many fantastic restaurants, the city park has a great beach and playground then there is bowling and pickle ball, to make it a fun family vacation. Looking forward to many more Bike Vault and Crosby visits in the future!

The Bike Vault was an exceptional place to stay during our family biking vacation! The attention to detail was top notch - comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, coffee and beer, beautiful themed decor that immerses you in biking plus local history information readily available. And you couldn't ask for a better location in the heart of the town with delicious restaurants, shops and bowling! The old bank vault bike storage was super cool and the quick access to the trails is great! We've already got a return trip booked!
