Comfortable, Family & Dog friendly home for outdoor lovers

If you are an outdoor enthusiast looking to enjoy all Minnesota has to offer, the Red Dirt Digs is the place for you! A short ride away for the Cuyuna Lakes Recreational Region's main trailhead, this charming home has been lovingly renovated and decorated to create a warm, and inviting space that offers flexibility for many different kinds of travelers. Located just outside the Cuyuna Lakes Recreation Area, we are happy to share this hidden gem with you!
The home contains plenty of room for up to 8 guests. Two main level bedrooms have a queen bed each separated by a full bathroom. Main Level also includes front and back entryways, Living/Dining (with cozy gas fireplace), full Kitchen and access to spacious deck. Lower level offers an open sleeping area with four extra long twin beds for maximum flexibility, luggage area, small family/game room, laundry and 3/4 bathroom. All beds are memory foam and there are a variety of pillows to mix and match to your liking.
The backyard is yours to enjoy. There is a fire pit, charcoal grill, snorkel gear and a few yard games for your use.
1.5 Car garage offers space for one car to park if you wish with bike rack and lockable bike storage. There is a parking pad to side of garage and street parking as well.
We are permitted through the City of Ironton and licensed with the MN Department of Health so you can feel comfortable that our building and safety standards are top notch.
The Cuyuna Lakes Recreation Region offers exciting/world-class mountain bike trails for all seasons, pristine tree-lined lakes perfect for kayaking or paddle-boarding, deep mining lakes with great scuba diving and wonderful trout fishing. Winter lovers will enjoy easy access to snowmobile trails and close proximity to wonderful cross country skiing and ice fishing.
The cities of Crosby/Ironton have much to offer if you are looking for an authentic small-town feel. We have two lovely coffee shops, brewery, restaurants, antique shopping, lovely city park with beach and great kids play area, skate park, and bike repair/outdoor sport equipment rental for your convenience.

*****June 1st, 2020: In an effort to run the business we love while doing our best to provide safe accommodations, we will be implementing to following policies:
-1 day minimum spacing between guests to allow for additional cleaning time and care.
-Above and beyond our normal rigorous cleaning standards, we will be disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, door knobs, remotes, faucets, etc.
-Per usual, we wash all towels, cloths and bedding between guests.
-Operate using the recommended CDC and Airbnb guidelines as outlined here:

-We will do our best to provide guests with additional essential amenities as best we can (sanitizer, wipes) in addition to the typically provided items (soap, tissues, paper towels, etc.) so guests have the means to take additional precautions during their stay if they so choose.
