The Haven: A Spacious Downtown Victorian Apartment

This top-floor unit features hardwood floors and high tin ceilings. It gets a lot of natural light from east- and south-facing windows. A small balcony off the kitchen offers west-facing views. You get a nearly nearly 360 degree view of the neighborhood from our sun room, which is nice spot for a cup of coffee and a good book.

We have one bedroom with a cushy Casper mattress and your choice of a comfortable King sized Lucid floor mattress or downy Queen futon for additional guests.

Coffee and tea are available in the kitchen, which features gas appliances, as well as a full refrigerator, coffee marker, toaster, electric kettle, and microwave. Prepare meals in the vintage mid-century kitchen, featuring a range of cookware and utensils.

Enjoy a luxurious dual head shower in our newly renovated bathroom. Fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. Kick up your feet and watch some HBO, SHOWTIME, ESPN, and other streaming services in our stylish living room, featuring furnishings with a real local history! You can find books, games, and puzzles in the cabinet - feel free to take a book with you or leave one for future guests! Use the Bose sound bar with the TV or your own music for a full sound experience. A dedicated office with printer gives you the opportunity to get some work done in comfort during your stay.

The on-site laundry is available for long-term guests and located on the garden level which is accessible through the rear entrance. Please request access 24 hours in advance.

A 14-50 220V outlet mounted on the front of the house can be used to charge your EV! Use your own portable charger or borrow our J-1772.

We are located walking distance from the commons and the the best casual dining in Ithaca. Also on our block is the State Diner if you're in the mood for a greasy spoon. Uncle Joe's sports bar is just a few steps away, and the Kitchen Theater offers productions almost year-round if you want to catch a thought-provoking play. If you're in the mood for a cold beer or a glass of wine, the Westy has a lovely beer garden that's perfect on warm summer nights. Walk a few blocks further west to Maxie's Supper Club or east to the Ithaca Commons for a variety of eateries to suit myriad tastes.

We love our unique Victorian home, and we hope you will too. It's a mixture of the old and new. Original high tin ceilings give the apartment a sense of history. Roomy and comfortable, it's a good place to relax, or to work. We are excited to share it with you.
