The apartment features a comfortable double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The open-plan lounge and dining area includes a kitchenette equipped with a hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, and microwave. The living space also offers a dining table and chairs, a double sofa bed, and a television with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+.
Step out onto the private balcony, furnished with a patio table and chairs, and take in the beautiful views across Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The sunrises and sunsets here are truly spectacular.
The property has its own private entrance and gated access, with free covered parking available under the carport. The owners live on-site and are available should you need any assistance during your stay.
The swimming pool is open year-round and is surrounded by sun loungers, a comfortable seating area overlooking the pool, and a BBQ area for al fresco dining.
The apartment is located just a 12-minute drive from the village of Ventorros de San José, where you'll find several bars and cafés, a mini supermarket, local shops, banks, a butcher, bakery, and a petrol station.
Malaga Airport is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away by car, while Granada Airport can be reached in around 50 minutes.
The nearby town of Loja is a 30-minute drive away and offers a wider selection of shops, bars, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, sports facilities, beautiful churches, a hospital, and a weekly market. Loja also has a railway station with connections to Granada, Malaga, and Seville.
The owners, Debbie and Sean, share their home with three friendly rescue dogs: Arabica, Flo, and Otto the Chihuahua. Casa Araflo is named after Arabica and Flo. The dogs love meeting visitors and often become a talking point during guests' stays. Please bear this in mind when making your booking.
Please note: Access to the property is via a hilly rural road that is not regularly maintained and may contain potholes and uneven surfaces. For this reason, the property is not recommended for vehicles with low ground clearance. Guests with standard cars, SUVs, and similar vehicles generally have no difficulty accessing the property, but we advise driving with care.
