Modern, Light-filled Garden Apartment in Heart of Washington

Stayed here while visiting our son, who lives in the Columbia Heights neighborhood just several blocks away. Nice, clean place. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping, and Metro. Our host, Varsha, was very responsive and helpful. Street parking is a bit problematic, but always managed to find a spot. Would stay there again.

My partner and I were in town for a concert and while we were a ways away from the Venue the proximity of the metro station to the property was fantastic, easy to navigate and get to. Lots of things to eat and explore nearby as well! The property was a sub level apartment that was very spacious and clean! Varsha answered any questions I had quickly and clearly and was a pleasure to converse with. A parking pass is required to park in the residential area but if you contact the owner they will provide one for you! We were not disturbed and left to our own devices and couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay. Nearby, there are a lot of stores within walking distance such as a Target, Old Navy, Lidl, basically anything you may need. I also would highly recommend Yoube, a local Ethiopian restaurant.

The property was neat and communication with the owner was seamless. The location from Reagan Airport was fairly easy to access. The only issue during my stay was parking. If you have a rental car, street parking is required and very scarce, not just at this location but throughout Washington DC. I’d suggest public transportation.

Very enjoyable, comfortable and safe. The door upstairs was thin wood and we could hear all conversations. A stronger door would help. All and all a great stay.
