Cozy writer's cottage near Ahoy

We enjoyed staying at the flat. It's a unique, arty, spacious flat and the landlady is very nice. The flat has everything you need. The kitchen is quite basic, but it doesn't matter because there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Parking is difficult and expensive if you want to park near the flat. When I come back to Rotterdam, I'd definitely stay here again.

The apartment is in a vibrant neighborhood near the Ziudplein D/E line stop. The apartment has eclectic decoration and the host is very helpful and made us feel at home. There are bakeries and groceries close by.

10min walk from the Metro station, supermarkets and cafes and restaurants right in front of the door. The place itself is quite cozy, with old furniture and lots of books and artwork and real plants.. with a basic kitchenette and a rather small bathroom. You have your own little patio.. If you are out all day this flat has everything you need, you can have a coffee in the sun in the morning and fix a basic breakfast.. There were lots of towels and extra bedsheets, all fresh and clean, the owner was very friendly and is living in the flat right on top of you. The downside to this flat is that the walls are paper thin.. So you can hear the neighbours talk and all the noise from the road in the morning. Better bring some ear-plugs.. We had a bit of bad luck too because the flat next door is getting remodeled so there was heavy construction noise.. And the bathroom is very small.. If you come by car you can park in the street via the "Easypark" app, we paid 80 for 3 days for the parking.. The owner said if you park at one of the park & rides on the outskirts it'd be free and you can take the metro to the flat.. We used the car in the morning to drive to the beachside, which is 30-40min by car..
