About this house rental
In this thatched-roof house dating back to 1860, a very special kind of vacation awaits you—the rustic and historic furnishings will transport you to another era, allowing you to follow in the footsteps of Ahrenshoop’s great artists right in your vacation home.
On the first floor, the house welcomes you with a large living and dining area that also provides access to the patio and garden. This area features a traditional fireplace that makes even mild spring and fall days feel cozy. From the living and dining area, you can also walk through the hallway to the spacious kitchen, which is fully equipped and ready for you to use during shared cooking evenings. You’ll also find a washer-dryer in the kitchen, freeing up the space you need in your suitcase for vacation souvenirs. Behind the kitchen is a small, lockable apartment featuring a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, and a pull-out bed (2x 90x200 cm). In the entryway of the house, you’ll also find a guest restroom.
On the first floor of the house is a large bedroom with a freestanding double bed (180x200 cm), a desk, and a cozy sitting area with a view of the fireplace. Across from this bedroom, you’ll find another bedroom, also equipped with a desk and built-in closets. The double bed (180x200 cm), built into an alcove, provides additional sleeping space. Also on this floor, you’ll find the largest of the three bathrooms. It features both a shower and a bathtub.
The house is located right on the Bodden bike path, making it the ideal starting point for extended bike tours across the Darß Peninsula, as you can step right out the garden gate onto the bike path.
The Boddenhaus offers Wi-Fi and warmly welcomes you and your two dogs to the fully fenced-in garden.
There is no designated parking space available at the house.
Please keep in mind that this beautifully restored house was built in 1860: the ceiling height is rather low, the floorboards creak, and the heating system is housed in a closet in the hallway.
