Cornicello House

The location near the airport is perfect. The pool was so lovely and it’s such a great place to relax- you could easily spend a few days here, mainly because of the host’s amazing hospitality. We were greeted by Levan and his lovely family who went out of their way to help us, feed us and water us! They are a very special family and this is a great place to both start and end your travels in Georgia- honestly could not recommend more highly.

We had a tricky arrival process where we couldn’t find the property, we found that we couldn’t pay by card even though the information we received said card payments only and we found that food wasn’t available that night. However, the family pulled out all the stops and turned all the negatives into a positive through their incredible hospitality, even going to great lengths to bake us a cake and make us a salad, bread and dumplings dinner. I would just make sure to establish contact with them in advance to be clear on the location (google maps only takes you close), how to pay and how much airport transfers cost, if needed.

It’s away from the city noise and traffic in a remote area just 10mins from city centre. A slight challenge to find you need to take a left up the hill to go round the back of the houses, but once there it’s a hidden gem of a family oasis with the loveliest and friendliest of people.

לקחנו את החדר רק ל 4שעות עד הטיסה אז לא קבלנו

1. שעה לקח לנו למצוא את המקום, לא מופיעה כתובת באתר מלבד שם השכונה, אין שלטים, בסוף היינו צריכים לפנות למשטרה שתסייע בידינו למצוא את המקום 2. מבחוץ, נראה מתחם כמו משחטת רכב, מיליון מכוניות חצי מפורקות, אפילו שרטתי את הרכב כאשר תמרניתי בחושך לעזוב את המקום 3. בחדר לא היה מפסק לכבות את האור. רצינו קצת לנוח אבל בהיעדר מפסק נשארנו עם אור דולק 4. בית ההארחה נמצא בבניה. בדרך לקומה שניה עברנו באזור שיפוצים, עם מדרגות בטון ובלי מעקה אבל מה שבאמת הכעיס אותי, זה הציון המזוייף שהמקום נותן לעצמו, 10 מתוך 10 בזמן שמבחינתי לא הייתי חוזר ולא הייתי ממליץ לאיש ללכת לשם 5. ולבסוף, שאלתי את הבעל הבית כמה לשלם לא ולא זכרתי. הוא אמר לי 120 לארי ושלמתי לו. בשדה התעופה בדקתי וזה היה 110 לארי, אתם יכולים לבדוק בבוקינג. אז גם היינו רק 3 שעות, גם לא אכלנו ארוחת בוקר, גם הדרך לשם בוץ, גם המקום בשיפותים, וגם הוא לוקח ממני יותר כסף. לא ככה עובדים
