Our host Louis ensured we were well taken care, before and during our stay, which was nearly 3 weeks. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything one might need-it was very comfortable and light and bright with the big windows in the front providing spectacular views of the water. The balcony was a wonderful plus so we could enjoy the start to every day with our coffee and enjoy the beautiful view from outside. The area of the beach directly in front of the apartment is ground zero for an array of water sports-sailing, surfing, swimming, wind sailing, kite surfing, water walking-you name it! And the tidal views were incredibly dynamic-every day was its own unique experience. Saint Malo itself was charming and a delightful walk along the boardwalk; it took about 40 easy minutes to get to the walled town. Very safe neighborhood with access to local restaurants, boulangeries (yum), and grocery stores (with many wine, cheese & fresh food choices)- all within easy walking distance. Parking right next to the building and this location was perfect for day trips to many wonderful sites in Brittany and Normandy. Overall, the VRBO site cannot begin to describe or show with photos what a fantastic stay anyone could have here-especially in this comfortable apartment and in this location. This apartment was just absolutely lovely. I can't imagine a place w/ more magical views than we had at this site! Ideally located between Roche Bonne and St. Malo and right smack dab on the boardwalk! The sunsets didn't happen until almost 11 pm at night (in July) and the tides are so extreme you have to walk for 1/2 mile to get to the ocean! Just magical! I would come back again and again to this place! The only thing I have to comment on is that, for American travelers who are very used to having all the amenities included in the price, it's a bit odd to have to "rent" your linens once you get there and have to make your own beds!? Kind of weird. Also- renter beware: in France 95% of the vacation rentals don't provide any more than a tiny bit of toilet paper when you arrive. It's up to you to buy garbage bags, kitchen cleaners, air spray, salt and pepper and all kitchen condiments. It's just odd for us North Americans to not have that at our disposal for usage. Also; I've found that the French are VERY stingy when it comes to towels; ours were no bigger than a hand towel. Don't even think of any extra towels! So we went out and bought our own towels as well as towels for beach usage. I'm only stating this here as I would love it if French airbnb hosts got the message about customer service and providing much more for their guests who are already paying a pretty high rent and then to be expected to rent their sheets and linens as well as pay a "stay tax" at the end of their visit. It's just aggravating to not have everything included in the price from the get-go. This said, I still HIGHLY RECOMMEND this lovely, airy apartment with its 4 large bedrooms, two full baths and separate toilets. It's great for a large family and the kitchen is large and workable. We didn't find any room to stock our own groceries in the cupboards as they're all filled w/ dinnerware and glasses. But we made do! I hope others enjoy this sunny spacious apartment as much as we did! We will definitely come back!

Malgré une literie qui n’était pas à notre convenance nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. L’appartement très spacieux a répondu à tous nos critères et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la magnifique vue mer du salon et des chambres. Nous avons également noté que cette location est très bien équipée et nous n’avons manqué de rien ! Adresse à conserver pour un éventuel nouveau séjour en famille ou pour une cure au grand hôtel des Thermes se trouvant à 8 min à pieds.

Sehr schön gelegene Ferienwohnung direkt am Strand. Bäcker und Supermarkt nur ein paar Meter entfernt. In Sachen Einrichtung ist alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Ein Spaziergang am Strand führt entweder nach St. Malo Altstadt, oder in die andere Richtung in ein Naturschutzgebiet mit Wanderwegen.

Deux couples d’amis, nous avons passé une semaine superbe dans ce grand appartement très bien équipé. En front de mer avec vue imprenable sur la mer et St Malo. Le déchaînement des vagues au marée haute était un vrai spectacle. Beaucoup plus agréable que de séjourner au centre ville, une petite marche pour y aller fait du bien. Marchés et magasins de qualité à proximité (à pied). Pas de ‘vrai’ four (mixe non encastré) mais suffisamment grand pour y cuire un chapon de 3.5kg pour le réveillon! Un grand lit de 160cm très confortable, mais le deuxième grand lit de 140cm est un peu juste. Je recommande sans hésitation et j’imagine déjà des vacances avec la famille dans cet appartement.

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour dans cet appartement spacieux en front de mer ( sans circulation automobile) , avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la plage et au loin la vieille ville. L’emplacement dans St Malo est idéal pour profiter de la plage, mais aussi de la ville et des environs, même sans voiture car bien desservis en bus à proximité. A dix minutes à pied on trouve un grand supermarché et des commerces de qualité (Maison Malecot, Bordier , Redouté...). A proximité également, le marché couvert de Paramé. Concernant l’appartement, l’espace jour (vaste salon / salle à manger) ainsi que 3 des 4 chambres ont vue sur mer. Les chambres et les deux salles de douche (+2 wc séparés) se répartissent de part et d’autre de l’espace jour, en deux espaces nuit, idéal même pour 2 couples avec enfants. Nous y avons trouvé absolument tout le nécessaire dans la cuisine, (dont l’inventaire détaillé était fourni à l’avance, très pratique pour préparer les bagages en conséquence !) , quelques jeux pour enfants bien utiles, et une belle collection de Dvd et de livres policiers . Le linge de lit fourni inclut les draps, alors que les serviettes et les torchons sont à prévoir. J’en profite pour remercier vivement le propriétaire, très disponible et réactif lors de nos communications, ainsi que la très aimable dame nous ayant accueilli. À bientôt pour un prochain séjour, certainement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Bien sûr la vue est absolument magnifique surtout en période de grande marée. L appartement est bien agencé, super bien équipé et si vous avez des enfants il y a jeux de sociétés, de plages et divers jouets et livres à disposition. L accueil est également très agréable et flexible, je ne peux que recommander ce superbe appartement.

Appartement les pieds dans l'eau avec accès direct à la grande plage, plein ouest (couchers de soleil de folie chaque soir). Grand salon/SàM avec 3 baies vitrées sur la mer, 3 chambres avec vue mer, 1 chambre avec vue sur propriétés malouines voisines. Accueil chaleureux de Mme Charlot qui fait l'arrivée et le départ. Nous avons adoré ce spacieux appartement : grandes baies vitrées avec vue directe sur la mer et à proximité de tout. Nous avons apprécié le confort des lits, le grand nombre de vaisselle . Cet appartement est idéal pour une famille avec des enfants. Tout y est pour eux : jouets de plage, coffre à jouets remplis, DVD, cassettes. Excellent contact avec le propriétaire sans oublier la personne qui s’occupe de l’accueil qui est très agréable, chaleureuse, serviable. Merci à elle. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement qui nous a charmés.

"Nous sommes des habitués de St Malo, et nous recherchons exclusivement des locations sur le vrai front de mer, c''est à dire sur la digue du Sillon sans la route devant. Jusqu''à présent nos locations étaient vieillottes, peu confortables voir insalubres mais c''était le prix à payer pour résider sur cette magnifique digue. Et voilà que nous sommes enfin tombés sur cet appartement! Nous l''avons adoré. Grandes baies vitrées, beaux meubles, confort des canapés, du lit, ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle en nombre, salles de bain modernes, etc etc...Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à deux cette fois mais nous reviendrons volontiers avec nos grands enfants. Très bon contact (et rapide) par email avec le propriétaire. Quant à la personne qui s''occupe de l''accueil, elle est très agréable, professionnelle et fort sympathique. Merci pour ces belles vacances."
