Jarrah Valley Escape by Tiny Away

Gorgeous, comfortable, clean and very well appointed tiny home nestled away in an atmospheric jarrah forest settling. Our hosts were so lovely and welcoming while still respecting our privacy, and very generous with firewood. It was the first time we have done something similar to camping since our toddler was born, and it was amazing for my husband and I to roast marshmallows by the campfire with him snug and asleep in his portacot in the heated tiny house next door. It was also magical to wake up to the birds and watch the sun rise through the trees from our bed, and it was luxurious to be able to have a hot shower! Although we just stayed the one night it felt like a real getaway ☺️

Very minor points, and didn’t like would be inaccurate - rather suggestions for improvement. I couldn’t find hand soap in the bathroom so I used the body wash from the shower. The hosts also kindly gave us two bottles of filtered water but because I am breastfeeding I drink a lot so needed to also drink the tap water which tasted delicious and I am sure was absolutely fine, but I wasn’t sure if it was connected to the mains so it could be helpful to clarify that it is drinkable.

The tiny home is well maintained, welcoming and very cozy. Would be the place to be on cold wet winters day! From the bar to the romantic flowered swing, the festoon lights and fire pit, there’s a space to relax for all. The pieces of art throughout the garden have a rustic Aussie feel. The owners have done an amazing job of creating a unique and charming environment to unwind in.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy was leaving so soon.

Beautiful little setup in a very picturesque location.

Didn't realise it was as small as it was or as close to the owners house.

The setting is calm, peaceful, fun and quirky all at once. A great escape.

January was perhaps a bit too hot to enjoy the outside comfortably!!
