The host was responsive and polite, answered to all my questions. Sent videos how to get to the apartment, which was sweet. Apartment was okay, could use some freshening up. It was spacious for three people. If you are willing to walk a bit, the location is okay. The kitchen had okay equipment so you are able to cook. Washing machine for laundry worked as well.

There was no guidance about the deposit before I asked how to check-in. The deposit order was sent in whatsapp and it lead to bank account in Belgium, with account holder name no matching the account number. I felt it unsafe and asked in booking.com confirming. After giving back the apartment I got my deposit money back. The mattress in other bedroom was thing and you could clearly feel the medals in it in you back. The bed in living room was broken partially, so we did not want to use that. Apartment was quite cold. The water pressure in the shower was light. Dishware was a bit dirty when we came.

Do not book this accommodation. This is a scam. We booked for ourselves and sons as a Xmas birthday trip. We provided ID as requested, over two weeks before check in. Receipt of this was confirmed. On the day of check in no one was answering and and out of office notice was received when trying to communicate via WhatsApp. At 5pm, after a day of trying to make contact the fraudsters who list this accommodation emailed and said we hadn’t met the age restrictions so couldn’t stay there and weren’t entitled to a refund. This left my family on a dark cold street in a crappy area with no further communication. The worst kind of scam artists. Booking.con couldn’t help and we had to book accommodation again at our own expense. The age restrictions of 29-65 weren’t present on booking.com platform and the accommodation were sent our ID weeks before and could have told us we didn’t meet their restrictions anytime before the day we were supposed to check in. They also tried to get us to cancel the booking on our platform falsely stating it would look like a no show otherwise. This has been raised with Booking.com and we are pursuing legal action as this is clearly a scam and the idea you can keep over £600 just because you changed some terms is just ridiculous and can’t be ok. Unfortunately I have looked further and can see other reviews which show the same. Disgusting behaviour and clearly dishonest. Nothing about this is as it seems. You’ve been warned.

Avoid this place

BE AWARE POTENTIAL SCAM - Dodgy and unprofessional practices from the management . Stay clear if this place, not worth the risk for the price they are asking. Terrible communication from the hotel meant that we were informed after our agreed check in time that we could not stay in the hotel. Then they went compelty dark and lied to booking.com saying we never arrived. They have a bizzare policy that you have to be over 29 to stay. But don't worry if you're not, they will still take your money from you no questions asked and not tell you about it until it's way too late, then refuse to refund. Imagine paying for a drink at a bar, then being asked for ID afterwards and refused service, but they keep your money. Unfortunately booking.com refuse to enforce any customer protection.

Really nice stay

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days and had a very pleasant experience. The place is spacious, with two comfortable bedrooms, and although simple, it has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is not right in the city center, but it’s still very convenient — you can easily reach the central areas on foot. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and having several supermarkets within a 5-minute walk was extremely useful. We really appreciated the small touches, such as finding basic items like oil, salt and sugar already available. The apartment also has a microwave and a washing machine, which were very helpful during our stay. Communication with the host was excellent — very kind, responsive and helpful at all times.

It's a great apartment that was perfect for our family of four, it exceeded our expectations.

The setup of the apartment for our family of four was well laid out and had everything we needed for our stay. It is a great place that we would recommend. We are a family of four with two grown children and the space and number of beds worked out perfectly. The kitchen was useful and had all the necessities. There is a dining table for four and a sall couch which was great and mostly where we hung out. The bathroom is nice and spacious. There is also lots of storage in the two bedrooms for clothing and such. We didn't take advantage of it but I can see it being useful (the photos don't really show off the amenities as well as they could). We also liked the large windows in each room so the apartment had nice bright light coming in during the day and a good view looking north east. It's right next to an awesome pub, Cobblestone, amazing! A great movie theatre is across the street and there a grocery stores nearby too. An easy to walk to public transit as well. The host was very kind, communicative, and helpful every step of the way.

At times there were issues with the water pressure in the kitchen sink and shower. It wasn't a problem and could be easily overcome, just a surprise. The water heater was a bit noisy too. Prior to arriving I felt a little unsure of what to expect from the apartment as the photos didn't do it justice and could be improved on to better show the space. The photos of the bedrooms looked so similar you had to study if they are indeed separate rooms (yes they are). There is also no photo of the kitchen which would be nice to see (it is a perfectly nice kitchen worth photographing). Also, a photo of the living room space with the dining table would be helpful, also nice (the chairs are a little funky but not a big deal). The quality of the photos posted to the listing of the streets of Dublin are poor quality and, for me, added to the questions I had about what we were really getting. It was all good, and exceeded our expectations. The only other thing is getting the key. Plan ahead because you need to pick the keys up from the Spar that's about a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment. The host was very kind to let us leave the keys in the apartment when we left because our flight was early in the morning and the Spar was not open yet to drop the keys off.

A very nice, comfortable apartment, walking distance from the city center, stores and all the main sights. Had excellent communication with the host.

It got a bit loud during the late hours as the windows were just under a pub, but the noise did not remain for too long.

Very centrally located! Clean in the rooms and great services! The beds were very comfortable and clean bathrooms. Everything we needed worked! The hosts were easy to communicate with and gave easy to follow instructions via text and video.

The smell of the elevators would be the only turn off as it is a shared elevator but other than that, nothing else.

Hicimos una reserva el domingo en la tarde para poder llegar el domingo los propietarios no dijeron que debíamos hacer un depósito en una cuenta personal la cual no marcaban en Booking también me hablaron por un número de teléfono que no era el que tenían en Booking cuando llegamos a Dublín mucho antes de la hora establecida para llegar el alojamiento no nos quiso recibir no no abrió la puerta y nos canceló todas las noches que teníamos teníamos cuatro noches y no las canceló todas le dimos la opción de que si tenían un link de pago para poderle pagar o pagarle con tarjeta de crédito ya que era domingo en la noche y no era posible para nosotros como empresa hacer una transferencia bancaria que si podían esperar al otro día aunque no quitaran una noche a lo que el alojamiento se negó rotundamente robándonos todo nuestro dinero y dejándonos totalmente en la calle en Dublín por favor tener mucho cuidado con este alojamiento
