Stunning 1BR Flat with balcony near metro station

Great location (9 Arrondissement) with many wonderful restaurants and cafes of countless cuisine within a 10 mins walk, spacious and well-designed apartment, nice balcony for coffee and people-watching, comfortable bed. Apartment was well-equipped with fridge/freezer, washer, clothes rack, iron, television, WiFi, oven and stove (not that they were needed with the great food around!).

As with many Paris apartments, there was no lift so walking up 5 storeys with luggage on Day 1 (or after a long day in Paris) was a pain! Shower cubicle itself was tight considering the bathroom was actually quite spacious. Keys were collected and returned to a hotel about 10-15 mins walk from the apartment (24 hours), but it was a deviation from the route to the airport.

Great location, great balcony.

The apartment was dirty. There were bare foot and also sneaker marks on the walls in the toilet, there was dried food on the floor in the kitchen, there were hand and finger marks on kitchen cabinets, the light switches had crud on them that has built up over time, the door were dusty and dirty, the shower had mold in it, the sink had crust around the faucets. I went out and bought cleaning supplies to clean the toilet and the sink in the bathroom, the kitchen cabinets, the kitchen sink, all of the light switches, and the door handles and the area on around the door handles. I took pictures, but I don't see any place to add them. I would not recommend staying here unless you don't care about cleanliness.
